Lu Ann Brumfield Mann

I married Richard in 1977 after meeting him on a blind date just the year before. That's 46 years! 30 year career at Toyota Motor Sales in Torrance - retired December 2017. My husband and two kids have been the joy of my life. As a creative outlet I also was owner and designer of a wedding/specialty flower business that I run out of my home. Now live in Santa Clara (northern California).

I came to California and West High the middle of my junior year. Coming from Ohio, my high school had a total of 100 students (9th-12th grade) of which I knew all of the students by name since we all grew up together. Then attending West High with our graduating class of over 100, I knew no one.

Fortunately, I joined the West High band and made new friends fast.
