Melvin was not very well known in school. Myself and a few others knew him. I went to school with Melvin since 7th grade. I also knew most of his friends. He was a good hearted guy. In his early years he battled horribly with Asthma. Finally he got better after HS and joined the military. Horribly he died from a bullet wound in a bar brawl. I wish I had known him better.

WE HUNG OUT TOGEATHER AND SPENT MANY PLEASUREBLE HOURS AT THE BEACH..Melvin & David both were Army..lost contact with Melvin after graduation..couple quick letters in military then we went seperate ways..was more lucky with Daivid we kept in contact up till his passing....
