I'm still missing my brother everyday.  He was a great brother, husband, dad, and uncle.  Love you Scott!

I remember the first period of my first day of high school; algebra with Mr. Reed. Everyone laughed at me because I didn't even know what a square root was. Scott got me through that class by doing our homework every night together on the phone, and remained a close friend throughout high school. Years later, I missed a class reunion, so he came to my house with his year book and got me all caught up because he felt so badly that I had missed out.  He was the nicest, most popular boy in school.  He is missed...

I was shocked to see Scott's name on the Fallen Warriors display at West's 50th Birthday.

What a loss!

Scott was a very special person as we all know. I wished I would have told him how meaningful our talks were.  He had no idea that I carry them with me. He told me there are educated people in the world and then there are smart people. He thought I was one of the smart commonsnse ones and my choice to choose what direction of life I wanted. He was always so positive and encouraging. I wish I would have said "Thank you for the kind words" .  As we get older we realize their impact, but unfortunatley sometimes we don't get the opportunity to tell the person.  Scott you are greatly missed and someday I will Thank you !

Scott made History class much more interesting by engaging in long coversations in class with the teacher while we all listened, which relieved the usual boredom we experienced with the subject of History. However, today, I am as interested in History as Scott was, and that is a gift from Scott. Scott asked such good questions that even the teacher was interested in what Scott had to say and seemed to enjoy talking with him during class. It was amazing how smart, respectful, interesting, and funny Scott was. No doubt, many of us enjoyed Scott as our classmate to keep us interested in a required History class. He also made History more understandable for us and helped us pass the class by asking relavent questions during class. Thank goodness for Scott McQueen! We were lucky to enjoy History class with him. He is greatly missed by the many he helped by being himself.
