Christine K Lee (1968)

I was truly sad to learn that Gayla passed away so young, I'm sure she wanted to be here longer, and that her family feels a great sense of loss at her passing, and misses her.  I hope she is at rest and peace now.  I well remember her calm demeanor and pretty face.  Gayla always had perfect hair and great clothes.  She seemed more mature, reserved and sophisticated than most young girls our age.  I wasn't in her close circle of friends but I knew her to be sweet and kind, which is undoubtedly why she had many friends.

It seems she managed to get plenty of face time in the yearbook each year we were there, so now, whenever we browse through our yearbooks, we'll be reminded of the young lady that graced the pages of every yearbook from 1965 to 1968. My prayers and condolences to Gayla's family and loved ones.  She'll be missed by her friends and classmates.
