Ron was my cross country coach for a couple of my cross country running years. He had a reputation as a stellar cross country runner, which is still evidenced by some of the school records he held that still stand today. He was the best coach I had, because while he cut us no slack on our workouts, he believed in us. He never failed to try and pump me up, even if I had a bad race. I will always remember his pep talks and the support he gave me. I also will never forget the time he dragged me out of class to train, on the day I had my hair done for my Senior photo. He wouldn't let me wait until after my photo session and needless to say, my hair was a mess for my portrait. Thanks Ron!
