I am deeply saddened to hear of Coach Parton's passing. Not only was he a great coach, he lived just a few doors up from our family and was a friend. When my mother passed in 1992, Coach Parton was one of the 1st to come and pay his respects. My sister and I grew up with their sons and have fond memories of the Parton family.
