Shirley was a kind soul. I got to know her a little when the West High band and drill team travelled to Switzerland in '79. She had a way of putting everyone around her at ease. She was a true innocent. It's too bad you didn't get a chance to meet her.
Shirley was a kind souled ledy who had agreat spirit and g;low about her She very beautiful and easy going . she loved her friends and like any high school girl was just doing the steps to succeed and have fun with her life.
It was very tragic when she died and very unnecessary by a bunch of sick gang members

I remember her most in the tall flags with the marching band we hada blast in high school doing this
