Scott was a neighbor of mine and a rival in many ways. He always won. He was in an early McDonalds comercial having to do with football. Scott and I traded coins when we were kids. His accident at a construction site surely brought him to an early end.
I remember Scott as a sweetheart of a guy. Many from our class of '75 would hang out at 2nd St., HB in the summer and I recall Scott being heartbroken one day because of a breakup. Devastated, he offered to buy me lunch at Mickies with money he had from his prized coin collection. I talked him out of it, telling him he shouldn't spend that money. My mom, who was also a coin collector, was happy that I talked him out of spending those special coins!
