Colleen died Sept 5, 2001 from rare form of Leukemia. While unable to help herself, she was instrumental in helping continued research for the Emory University Bone Marrow Transplant program and underwent TWO transplants,at a time when this was very cutting edge. She was residing in Georgia. We had her funeral the day before 9-11. As you can imagine we have quite a story here and the month of September always evokes strong memories.  She has three wonderful children,Erin, Kalah, Tim, and one grandchild, James, she would have loved to have known, now all currenly living in the Dallas Texas area.

Colleen continued her love of life and family throughout her entire life. She worked as a surgical assistant, and medical administrator , along with a great zest for parenthood. She also conitinued her love of music, singing, piano and later guitar, which she has passed on to her children.

We are all attending the football game and hootanany Friday night and you , Colleen, will be greatly missed.

Love alway,

  Cissy

Colleen, we will always miss you , you were cut down at such an early time in your life. I will always remember you -your music and zeal, and The song we played at your funeral by LeAnne Womak " I hope you dance". Well little sister, I have been waiting for the opportunity to do just that (again). Rest well, and dont worry about your children. They are just fine., brother Kevin class of 1969
