Mike was such a funny guy, making me laugh constantly in class (English, for one) instead of doing class work! I remember when he passed, in such sad circumstances. God rest his soul!

I also remember when Mike was killed.  It was just so unnessessary and so very sad.

Mike was actually in the WHS class of '72.  He graduated from Jefferson Elementary in 1968, which was a K-8th grade at the time.  He lived on my street (Sepulveda Blvd.) and was a real nice guy, dying way too young.

Thank you, Mary for clearing that up about the class of Mike Inmann, I do remember him being in our class of 1972, I also went to Jefferson Elementary with him, he lived on Sepulveda Blvd, and I lived around the corner on Cathann Street, I even have a stack of 45rpms records, that Mike had given me, and believe it or not, I still have them, with his name on the record sleeves.  So I was a little confused when I saw a comment that he was class of "71", I remember that day, that incident, it was all so sad and uncessary!  He was a great guy, with a great sense of humor, he will always be in my thoughts.

Yea, it was confusing about Mike's class year. I think he had a senior picture in '71 which really threw me off, but as I mentioned before, he was in one or two of my high school classes. Fun guy to party with and you would always end up laughing! Hope his family is doing well; he'll be sorely missed!

Fyi--i know another class of 72 student who had enough credits to graduate in 71 with us. Maybe Mike fell into that catagory?

I think most of us who posted here are from the class of '72. That's why it was confusing about Mike being in our classes, yet I believe his senior picture is in the class of '71. I'll have a look at my other yearbooks.

I believe that the date of Mike's passing is incorrect (it's stated as 1968); that has got to be incorrect, because I didn't start at WHS until early 1970 (our sophmore year). Is Denny Swanson around, anyone know? He was one of Mike's BFF's back then.
