Carmen was my older sister, my hero, and best friend. She was diagnosed with cancer and fought a brave and courageous battle for 6 years. She passed away March of 2002, and our lives have never been the same. But we find comfort in knowing she is safe and free of suffering in the arms of our loving Lord Jesus. Life is short, make memories together and tell someone you love them everyday, Rita Hessing Hobbs
I was Carmen's friend from 2nd grade in Elementary through four years a West High School. She was such a sweet and beautiful girl. I'm so glad she was my friend. I have fond memories of her on the play ground and at dances. She was so nice to everyone. I'm glad she kept her spirit close to our Lord Jesus Christ. My Prayers go out to Carmen and her family. I didn't know Carmen, but I'm so glad to hear she knew the Lord before her passing. I'm sure you know she's in the loving arms of Jesus Christ!

Carmen was my big sister. She is forever in my heart and I look forward to seeing her beautiful face once again.
