Gretchen Smith was one of our original two assistant principals at West High School. She never taught classes at West - unless there was another, younger Gretchen Smith. I would post a photo of Mrs. Gretchen Smith, assistant principal, if I could figure out how to do it.

I believe I had Mrs. Smith for freshman English (?) Her daughter Laurel was in my class. A good teacher and very sweet lady!
